Miniatures Display Case
For quite some time now I’ve wanted to get a glass display case for my miniatures.
After painting my Ork starter army from Assault on Black Reach I put it on one of my book shelves and about a month later I discovered a big layer of dust on them. It really sucks getting dust on your miniatures as it makes them look dull and it’s not very easy to get the dust off.
When you put a lot of work into painting an army of miniatures, the last thing you want to happen to them is to see them get covered with a layer of dust.
That’s why earlier this week I finally decided to get rid of the aquarium I had in my room to make room for a glass display case for my miniatures.
Today I got rid of the aquarium, and went to Ikea with my brother to pickup a glass display case.
Here’s what it looks like:
What do you guys think?

[..YouTube..] always nice to see accessories/equipment that can be used for miniatures. people are always looking for ideas on where to find these things sometimes.

[..YouTube..] Nice case mate
[..YouTube..] nice unit . The lights make it alot better . Thank you . Any problems getting it together or home from store please ?
[..YouTube..] Lol, I have the exact same shelf, now I just need to have some minis worthy of being displayed.
[..YouTube..] UK PRICE IS £40, I think that is amazing value. Now i just need more space…
[..YouTube..] awesome stuff man
[..YouTube..] i have that case!!
[..YouTube..] @HitomiNee – Yeah, that’s why I wanted to make a quick vid. It’s nice to get ideas this way.

[..YouTube..] @TemplarsCrusade01 – Yes, exactly.
[..YouTube..] – Yes, exactly.
[..YouTube..] @TheSeasonman1 – Nope, as with almost all IKEA stuff, it was easy to put together. You will need a 2nd person to hold the first piece of glass in place while you put in the 2nd and 3rd pieces. It just makes it much easier to put together.

[..YouTube..] - Nice!
[..YouTube..] @Mopperty – I know, it was really cheap. Paid $79 Canadian for it. Very good deal IMO.

wow, that’s such a good looking display case!
Thanks, I really like it as well.
[..YouTube..] sadly the shelves are too far apart for a proper miniature case.

[..YouTube..] Does this case allow for more shelves and adjustment of the location of the shelves? It seems very light on room for my needs, but if I could put shelves in spaced at approximately 8 – 10″ apart and more of them it might work for my needs.
[..YouTube..] Sweet models! I also have this same case. Thanks for the name for the lights!
