TTG Modular Standing / Hanging Dropper Bottle Paint Rack – 102 Paints

We highly recommend assembling the basic frame of the rack with no glue at first, just to get a feel for how the paint rack goes together.

Then, once you’re familiar with how it goes together, we recommend using a standard white wood glue which dries translucent for best results. We don’t recommend using superglue as the set time is too quick. We do also recommend using a few pieces of masking tape to hold the rack pieces together tightly once glued until the glue dries. This will prevent any gaps.

STEP 1

Lay the left side panel flat on it’s side oriented as shown in the picture above. Please note that the top (shown towards the left in pic above) of the side panel has a larger cutout at the top/back, and the front has the 4 small tabs on the front. Then attach the main middle dropper rack panel (the one with the smaller cutouts) into the middle slots on the left panel. Then attach the right side panel, making sure that the front/back/top/bottom orientation is correct, as shown above.

STEP 2

Next, lay the rack on it’s front, as shown above and carefully slide the top and bottom side panels on. Please note that the top panel has some extra slot cutouts for the wall hanger bracket, and the bottom one does not. Please make sure those are oriented correctly.

STEP 3

Next, attach the three separator panels sliding the two small tabs of each one into the tab holes in the middle panel of the rack.

STEP 4

Next, attach the front dropper rack panel to the front of the rack, as shown above. There will be twelve outer perimeter tabs that will have to be aligned, as well as the six smaller separator tabs. If you have trouble aligning the separator tabs you may need to slightly tilt them or marginally push them to the left or right to fit perfectly into the slot holes.

I have found it useful to place something with a bit of weight to it (not too much) on top of the front panel hold it down in place while the glue dries at the point. While the glue dries, you can proceed to assemble the hanging bracket below.

STEP 5

This is the wall mounting bracket for the paint rack. Put a thin layer of glue wood glue between the two large pieces and push them together, squeezing out any excess glue that may be there. Then quickly, before the glue starts to dry use the four small connector pieces to lock the pieces together and ensure perfect alignment of the bracket.

At this point, it would be a good idea to wrap some masking tape around the two large pieces to hold them together tightly while the glue dries.

STEP 6

If you’re going to use the paint rack as a standing rack, you can now slide the two small feet pieces onto the bottom sides of the rack (shown above). These can just be slid on without glue if you want the option to mount the paint rack to a wall later. If you just want to use the rack as a standing rack and won’t ever mount it on the wall, you can glue these feet in place.

Once the glue on the rack and the hanging bracket is dry, you can attach the hanging bracket to the standing rack even if you’re not hanging the rack on the wall at this time. This will make sure you don’t misplace the bracket later. Do not glue the bracket to the rack, it’s best to keep it removable.

STEP 7

To hang the paint rack on the wall, mount the supplied mounting bracket using to your wall using standard screws and anchors (not included), and then carefully slide the rack onto the bracket at a 45 degree angle from the top. The rack will then slide down and hang vertically in place without needing to glue it to the wall mounting bracket.

Please note that the bracket and paint rack were designed to fit together snugly so that gluing them together wouldn’t be needed, so the two outer side pieces of the mounting bracket may need to be slightly and gently pushed apart for the rack to slide into place the first time.

STEP 8

Congratulations you now have a fully assembled paint rack!
